Salon 1800

I’ve been here twice and was recommended by a friend of mine. Everyone here is always so nice and professional. They always did a fantastic job on my hair and they even have different stylists to accommodate your price range needs. The first time I came I got my hair done by Valerie. She did a balayage. And it came out great! Second time my hair was done by Alexis and I just wanted something for fall and a little darker brunette! They both were amazing and very friendly!

This is one of the worst highlights I’ve ever had in my life! Beware of stylists billing themselves as “blond color specialist”. I guess this is what happens when you have people that were trained over Zoom with only a few years of experience. I brought in the details of the color my previous stylist used and very clearly communicated what I didn’t want . . . And that’s exactly what I ended up with. Although they had me come back in to try and fix the muddy toned mess, it was barely any better. Five foil highlights won’t change a horrible dye job. Now they want me to come in a third time in just a week to try and fix it, but another salon advised against so much color in such a short timeframe. I used to go to Salon 1800 in its previous location and I can assure you this is not the same quality of service. Although it looks similar, I’m guessing there’s a reason so many chairs are empty there. If you’re looking for a new salon this is not it!

I went into Salon 1800 hoping for a good experience. It was my first time ever getting a perm and a mutual friend suggested a stylist here. The whole experience felt rushed and a little unprofessional but the stylist was nice and I had never gotten a perm before so I wasn’t sure how everything was supposed to go. While the stylist was putting the chemicals on my hair they had me hold a towel over my face and at first i had nothing wrapped around my head to protect the sides of my head until a little later. When I got home I felt the back of my head was burning and very itchy. I then realized I had a chemical burn and immense hair loss. Talking to a stylist friend she told me it was definitely a chemical burn and also that the perm wasn’t done well either. I quickly reached out to the salon and finally got ahold of a manager and she said she would get back to me. I emailed her pictures almost a week ago now and have not heard back from anybody. THE BACK OF MY HEAD IS BURNED FROM CHEMICALS AND IM MISSING HAIR. This doesn’t seem like something to be taken lightly. I will never be returning to this salon, the least they could’ve done is responded and helped me figure out what to done!

First google review for me ever!!! These stars are for the stylist Natalie. She said she was new to the salon so I wanted to give a shout out to her and to potential clients that she is amazing. She did a balayage and cut for me and it was exactly what I wanted. I have very curly hair and I wanted something that wouldn't look stupid when it was straight or curly. She took her time to answer my questions and did a great job. The color is perfect. So is the cut. Anyone with curly hair knows how hard it is to find a style that looks good when straight AND curly. And she did a fantastic job. I will be back!!!

I absolutely love Salon 1800! I came here for the first time in June on a recommendation from a friend and was blown away by the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Booking is very easy - you can email, call, or use the app - and the responses are prompt. My stylist Izzy was outstanding and gave me the look I wanted while guiding me in the right direction as to what would look best with my skin tone. As a bonus, she was attentive when I said I hadn’t had my brows done in FOREVER and was able to squeeze me in upstairs with Olga, who waxed my brows to perfection. I also would like to apply the measures they are taking for stylist and guest safety during the pandemic. I felt extremely safe there and really appreciated everyone going the extra mile. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back!
